Bond with my Alma Mater

MPS has given me a lot more than I could have ever even desired. It is the primary reason I get to study in one of the most prestigious colleges in the country. This school has always served as a place of intellectual freedom for me. The passionate way of teaching and the emphasis on conceptual clarity instilled in me a yearning to discover and a love for knowledge. But more significantly, this school has taught me to be more loving and accepting. It has contributed to my overall development. More than making me just an ideal pupil, it has made me a better human.

It is, however, not just the knowledge or values that have stuck with me; it is also the skills that my teachers inculcated in me. Good communication skills, ability to give prompt and witty responses, persuasion & managerial skills, ability to multitask, and a more confident personality is the reason I have been able to crack various interviews and entrances. Through the various skills I acquired, I have been able to make new connections and build a strong network.

Getting opportunities to participate in various co-curricular activities has helped me build a strong resumé and CV. All of this has contributed to making me a person who is happy with her life and achievements, yet is always striving for more!

I will be forever grateful to MPS for making me a capable and successful person.

                                        SUCCESS STORY

                                                                        

As one of the student at MPS Pratap Nagar, Batch of 2017, I would like to share my journey from then to now. During my school days I was a nerdy student. After I passed out, that quality of being nerdy and knowledge development in school helped me crack one of the toughest exams in country i.e. Chartered Accountancy. Now I am a C.A, Vidula Sarda. This prefix gives me an immense sense of pride, but it wasn’t an easy ride. So it started in 2017, when I enrolled in CPT (1^st level of CA). I cleared that exam in 1^st attempt, and then I appeared for Intermediate (2^nd level of CA) in 2018, and with  God’s  grace and elders’ blessings I also cleared it in 1^st attempt with 6 exemptions. After that I did my 3 year articleship along with my tuitions for CA final, which was to be due in 2021. Those  3 years were  really a roller coaster ride and demanded immense hard work and determination. So, I followed a disciplined routinelike getting up at 06:00 am, rushing to tuitions, and then heading to office and finally evening tuitions.. It was really very strenuous and really demanded lots of grit and perseverance to stick to that on a consistent basis. And then finally I appeared for CA final exams in the year 2021. And in September 2021, my efforts and hard work borne fruits and I cracked final exam.  That was the journey from Vidula to C.A Vidula. 

It’s said that great building needs great foundation. This indeed holds true in my case. My school contributed a lot in laying that foundation to enable me to attain pinnacles at such tender age of 22. The quality education, strict discipline, personality development engagements and moral trainings really helped me a lot in shaping me as person. Great school reaps great students. And I am really a proud Mpsite.

Currently I am working at price water house coopers services llp, Mumbai in Forensic services. I am also rendering my services for an NGO called Period Sakhi and also, I am a novice blogger. The  journey has just begun with many more millstones yet to be  achieved.

At last  , I would like to quote few lines;

We enter in a school as an individual with our anxieties, strength, and excitement. But the institutions like MPS helps  us to transform our personality. The reverence of being an mpsite is earned and the legacy of which sustains even after school. Process of knowledge is an experience, and I had a fulfilling one at school. Subsequently, I may have left MPS, but MPS has not left me. All the life learnings and memories stay intact and fresh engraved in the heart.

The campus building of mirrors, where we never missed chances to adore ourselves, and in innocence we never thought that this campus was building capacities for our present and laying the foundation of our future. Those mirrors turned out to be our window to the future and its opportunities. We were rough noises as a child collected in the assembly hall. But it was those Morning Life Lesson Stories by Principal Ma’am and other equally important lessons by teachers which helped us discover the symphony of life. The music of those stories stays vibrant in our heart till date and constantly reminding us that greatness lies in not just being human but being humane.
The teachers here played the role of friend, mentor and coach. They are here not to earn millions, but to inspire the billions of dreams we children have. Teenage and its vulnerability never confronted us because of the motherly shelter we had under the shade of those teachers.
In today's polarized world, where sectarian thoughts have overpowered the harmony and thread of unity, I feel lucky to be an MPSite where we celebrated all the festivals, not necessarily with roar and pomp but the idea of unity in diversity always remains aloud.
I will remain indebted to Principal Madam, Teachers, and Management who have not built a school but a temple of learning, not just in substance, but indeed in full measure which transformed us from stone to milestone. Wrapping up, as they say, “Once an MPSite, always an MPSite”.                                                                                                                                                                                 

  

                      

           नई शिक्षा नीति-  21वीं सदी का सम्यक विज़न  

               शिक्षा दृढ़ संकल्प, समर्पण, त्याग और है सम्मान।

          शिक्षा जीवन का है उच्च आदर्शों के साथ निर्माण।।

शिक्षा, ज्ञान का एक ऐसा माध्यम है जो समाज के   आधारभूत नियमों, व्यवस्थाओं और प्रतिमानों के साथ नैतिक मूल्यों की नींव भी रखती है। शिक्षा में ज्ञान, उचित आचरण, तकनीकी दक्षता शिक्षा और विद्या प्राप्ति आदि संभावित है। 21वीं सदी विकास व कौशल की सदी है, जो विद्यार्थियों में बहुआयामी प्रतिभा जागृत कर के आत्मनिर्भर बनने हेतु विश्लेषणात्मक तार्किक क्षमता को विकसित करती है। ज्ञान के इस युग में शिक्षा में शोध और नवाचार महत्वपूर्ण है। जिसे “एक भारत श्रेष्ठ भारत” की भावना का सम्मान करते हुए, नई शिक्षा नीति को अपनाया गया है। नई शिक्षा प्रणाली के माध्यम से छात्रों में रचनात्मकता, स्वप्रत्यय चिंतन, तर्क अभिवृति व अभिरुचि क्षमता का विकास होगा।

हमारे विद्यालय द्वारा भी विद्यार्थियों को संस्कृति व संस्कार से जोड़े रखने के लिए भारतीय संस्कृति से जुड़े विविध त्योहारों, महत्वपूर्ण दिवसों, महापुरुषों की जयंतियों व राष्ट्रीय पर्वों का आयोजन कर सात्विकता, सदाचार, समर्पण, सहयोग, शुचिता व परोपकार जैसे मानवत्व से जुड़े गुणों का विकास करवाया जाता है, दूसरी ओर 21वीं सदी को ध्यान में रखकर संप्रेषण कौशल, रचनात्मक कौशल, नेतृत्व क्षमता व कल्पना शक्ति संबंधी कौशलों का विकास करने हेतु विद्यार्थियों को विभिन्न अवसर प्रदान किए जाते है। एमपीएस, प्रताप नगर, जयपुर का लक्ष्य संस्कृति व संस्कारों से विद्यार्थियों को जोड़कर 21वीं सदी के लिए कौशलों से परिपूर्ण नागरिक तैयार करना है और इस कार्य को हमारे विद्यालय की टीम अपने शिक्षण पद्धति में नई शिक्षा नीति(NEP) 2020 के अनुरूप नवाचार लाकर बड़ी ही चेतना, सकारात्मकता व क्रियाशीलता के साथ कर रही है, क्योंकि-

नई शिक्षा नीति करेगी,  नवयुग का निर्माण।

आने वाला समय देगा,  इस बात का प्रमाण।।

The vision of our educationists to make Indian youth skillful, employable and self reliant (atmanirbhar) is wholly envisaged through NEP 2020.This revised approach towards the Indian Education System offers various Vocational courses in producing skilled graduates in tune with recent industrial revolution.

These vocational courses are pivotal and they encompass at  each platform to give hands on training in vocational training in skills like carpentry, plumbing, electrical repairing, horticulture, pottery, embroidery etc. It is a remarkable step as the skills acquired at school level may be further extended up to higher education level. This significant milestone aims at making Indian youth a potential job giver instead of a job seeker.

NEP 2020 captures the following key features to realize the dream of ‘Vocal for Local.’

•   Vision for balanced education – socially meaningful and  aspirational.
• Re-imagination of vocational education and sensitization for building competencies.
• Inclusive, Interoperable, Interdisciplinary and outcome based education.
•   School internship for skill appreciation and craft centric learning.
•  Technological development and student entrepreneurship.

 The renewed education agenda encapsulates Quality Education along with a vision to transform the lives of individuals, communities and societies. NEP 2020 heralds the concept of life long learning and embraces all the opportunities to make Indians self reliant.

“Summing up in the words of Mahatma Gandhi ji, “By education I mean an all round drawing of the best in child and man in  body, mind and spirit.”

 

 

     

  हमारे आधार :   शिक्षा व संस्कार

 शिक्षा अगर स्तंभ है, तो नींव है संस्कार।  

 सद्गुण सुख की खान है,जिस पर टिका संसार।।

शिक्षा और संस्कार एक दूसरे से जुड़े हुए हैं। शिक्षा मनुष्य के जीवन का अनमोल उपहार है, जो व्यक्ति के जीवन की दिशा और दशा दोनों बदल देती है। संस्कार, जीवन का वह सार है, जिसके माध्यम से मनुष्य के व्यक्तित्व का निर्माण और विकास होता है, इसी पद्धति के अनुसार हमारा विद्यालय विद्यार्थियों में शिक्षा और संस्कार दोनों का विकास कर परिवार, समाज व देश को विकास की ओर अग्रसर कर रहा है। समाज के बदलाव के लिए व्यक्ति में अच्छे गुणों की आवश्यकता होती है और उसकी नींव हमारे विद्यालय में बाल्यावस्था से ही प्रदान की जाती है। हमारा विद्यालय बच्चों में ज्ञान, कर्म और श्रद्धा इन तीनों गुणों को आत्मसात करवाता है, जो किसी भी समाज परिवार व देश की धुरी होते हैं।

     हमारा विद्यालय बच्चों को शारीरिक व आध्यात्मिक दोनों की शिक्षा प्रदान कर बच्चों का पूर्ण व संतुलित विकास करता है क्योंकि शिक्षा हमें जीविका देती है, तो संस्कार जीवन को मूल्यवान बनाते हैं।विद्यालय स्तर पर हमारे विद्यालय में विभिन्न गतिविधियों के माध्यम से भी बच्चों को अनुशासन, आत्म संयम, उत्तरदायित्व, आज्ञाकारिता, विनयशीलता, सहानुभूति, सहयोग व प्रतिस्पर्धा जैसे गुणों का विकास भी करवाया जाता है। ‘शिक्षा में ही संस्कार समाहित’ वाक्य की सार्थकता अनुसार हमारा परिवेश बच्चों में भारतीय संस्कृति, परंपराओं, भाईचारा, एकता, दया व सहयोग की भावना का बीजारोपण भी करता है। शिक्षा के साथ हमारा विद्यालय बच्चों में ज्ञान की अवधारणा को भी स्थान देता है।

        हमारे विद्यालय में ज्ञान के माध्यम से ध्यान, जिज्ञासा, लग्न, परिश्रम, अनुशासन और अभ्यास के गुणों का आविर्भाव भी विद्यार्थियों में करवाया जाता है, क्योंकि बिना ज्ञान के शिक्षा व्यर्थ है। पुस्तकों को पढ़ने के साथ-साथ उनका चिंतन-मनन करके विद्यार्थी स्वयं का आत्म-विश्लेषण हमारी शिक्षा पद्धति के द्वारा कर सकते हैं। इस प्रकार ज्ञान और शिक्षा दोनों का उचित समावेश कर हम विद्यार्थियों का सर्वागीण विकास करते हैं, जो ज्ञान संस्कार के साथ में न आए वह कालांतर में शव हो जाता है और जिस ज्ञान में संस्कार नियत हों, वह किसी भी स्थान पर बैठ जाए तो शिव हो जाता है। ऐसी उदात्त भावना के साथ हमारा विद्यालय विद्यार्थियों की सेवा में लगा हुआ है। हमारे विद्यालय में विद्यार्थियों की ह्रदय बगिया को संस्कार-जल से सिंचित किया जाता है और ऐसे विद्यार्थी अपने आप को ‘सत्यम शिवम सुंदरम’ से जोड़कर न केवल कल्याण हेतु तत्पर हो जाते हैं अपितु स्वयं को अध्यात्म के मार्ग से जोड़कर अपने मानव जीवन को सार्थकता प्रदान भी करते हैं।

          अंततः मैं यहीं कहना चाहता हूँ कि संस्कार और संस्कृति का बेजोड़ संबंध है, जो संस्कार के बिना ही संस्कृति को जीवित रखना चाहते हैं, वह तो ऐसा है जैसे पानी के बिना बाग को हरा भरा रखना । जीवन रूपी बाग तो संस्कार रूपी जल से ही फला-फूला  रहता है। जीवन में संस्कार की महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका है क्योंकि-

शिक्षा जरूरी है संस्कारों की,संस्कृति की रक्षा के लिए।

शिक्षा जरूरी है कर्मों की, कर्तव्यों के निर्वहन के लिए।।

 

Clinging to our roots and relying on this mutating technology, we are certainly entering in a new era. We cannot deny the fact that our education system has witnessed a sea change in the past few years and is being affected and swayed by it distinctly.

The pattern of teaching and learning is in an experimental phase. The methods now adopted for imparting or rather sharing knowledge are now more stimulating, pragmatic and definitely productive.

It’s time to embrace an empirical approach to disseminate the ideas and experiences. And here we land  to the concept of Futuristic Education.

Teachers and parents must join hands for this endeavour to make it a successful venture. Let’s delve into few skills need to be imbibed to prepare our brigade of students.

●   Experimental and Experiential Learning : Application of the acquired knowledge has become foremost. Practical methods are considered more effective than theoretical learning.

●   Joyful Learning : Fun and learning should be an intrinsic and vital part in imparting the concept.

●   Flexible Learning Patterns : Each child is unique in his or her own way. Respecting and understanding each child’s capability teachers should adopt flexible teaching methods.

●   Assessment Techniques : Teachers need to be innovative in the assessment methods too. They should prepare them to survive in this competitive world and help them to become a global citizen.

 As education in general is constituted of significant and relevant information and ideas, we as teachers must groom our students to reach the pinnacle and soar high in all spheres of life. With the words of Malala Yousafzai we may conclude that “one book, one pen, one child and one teacher can change the world.”

 

 

 हमारे शिक्षा के उद्देश्य व आदर्श

   ‘विद्या परम् बलम्’ अर्थात्  शिक्षा सर्वश्रेष्ठ बल है। शिक्षा, समाज एक पीढ़ी द्वारा अपने से दूसरी पीढ़ी के ज्ञान का हस्तांतरण है। इस प्रकार से शिक्षा एक संस्था के रूप में काम करती है, जो व्यक्ति विशेष को समाज से जोड़ने में महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभाती है तथा समाज की संस्कृति की निरंतरता को बनाए रखती है। शिक्षा सफल लोगों को आकार देने में भी महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभाती है। हमारे विद्यालय में ऐसी ही उच्च गुणवत्ता युक्त शिक्षा विद्यार्थियों को प्रदान की जाती है जो विद्यार्थियों के बुद्धि कौशल व ज्ञान को बढ़ाकर जीवन में सकारात्मक बदलाव लाती है।

    हमारे शैक्षिक वातावरण में बच्चा समाज के आधारभूत नियमों व व्यवस्थाओं से परिचित होकर समाज के प्रतिमानों एवं मूल्यों को सीखता है व समाज से जुड़ता है। हमारी शिक्षा पद्धति विभिन्न कौशलों, मानसिक, नैतिक और बौद्धिक सौंदर्य के उत्कृष्ट पर केंद्रित है। वर्तमान में आदर्श भारतीय समाज का निर्माण एक आदर्श शिक्षा पद्धति द्वारा ही संभव है जो कि हमारे विद्यालय का प्रमुख ध्येय हैं। हमारे विद्यार्थी ‘विद्या ददाति विनयम्’ सूक्ति को भी चरितार्थ करते हैं। हमारे विद्यालय में शिक्षा का उद्देश्य चरित्र निर्माण, व्यक्तित्व विकास, राष्ट्रीय संस्कृति का संरक्षण, प्रसार व ईश्वरभक्ति जैसे आदर्शों पर काम करना है ।हमारे शिक्षा के उद्देश्य व आदर्श एक नजर में-                                            

समग्रत: हम कह सकते हैं कि शिक्षा का उद्देश्य वर्तमान समय में शिक्षार्थी के सर्वांगीण विकास पर केंद्रित है। आज के शिक्षाविद मानते हैं कि एक शिक्षार्थी के अंतर्निहित शक्तियों को उजागर करना उसको बाहर निकालना है और शिक्षार्थी का सर्वांगीण विकास अर्थात मानसिक, शारीरिक व भौतिक सभी प्रकार से शिक्षार्थी को संपन्न व सशक्त बनाना ही शिक्षा का उद्देश्य है। हमारे विद्यालय में शिक्षा के इन्हीं उद्देश्यों के तहत विद्यार्थियों को विनम्र, सभ्य व संस्कारी बनाकर साहित्य, संगीत और कलानिपुण  कर उनका सर्वांगीण (मानसिक, शारीरिक व बौद्धिक) विकास करना हैं।

Education in India is poised at an interesting inflection point  On the one hand, it is set to shed an outdated model for the new National Education Policy 2020. On the other, new digital platforms of learning and innovative techniques of teaching are propelling it to global standards to create new benchmarks.A well-educated generation with a high literacy rate is equipped to undertake social, economic, and political roles responsibly with an overarching awareness of the global issues. Such is the vision embedded in the NEP 2020, which, when fully implemented, promises to make education holistic and a lot more rewarding.

As we pop up from the coronavirus pandemic and enter on a new academic year, it is important to clearly understand the potential of evolution in Indian education as a result of these three forces: NEP and the accompanying new platforms and techniques of teaching and learning.

NEP 2020, with its provisions of redecorating the curriculum structure, assessment criteria and regulations, promises a brand-new approach to teaching and learning. The new 5+3+3+4 formula provides a strong underpinning with the first five years dedicated to foundational learning, followed by a regularly assessed academic growth through the preparatory, middle and secondary stages.

Key features of NEP 2020:-

1. Holistic development for students of all grades 

NEP will inspire a shift from rote learning to in-depth understanding. The curriculum content will be reduced to core essentials and create more space for critical thinking, discussions, and analysis. Teaching and learning will be more interactive, exploratory, collaborative, and experiential.

2. Flexibility in choice of subjects 

Students will enjoy far greater flexibility in choice of subjects, with no hard separation between the streams of arts, humanities, commerce and sciences.

3. Skill development 

The proposal of a year long course in grade 6-8 in carpentry, electric work, gardening, pottery, metal work etc. will help in skill development.

4.Better student assessment

NEP 2020 proposes Standardized state school exams for grades 3, 5 and 8. Board exams for 10 and 12. Exams to test literacy, numeracy, and foundational skills will be very important.

New platforms and techniques of teaching-learning

5. Digital revolution pedagogical innovations are perpetually creating new platforms of learning and techniques for teaching. 

NEP 2020 will further open the field for creativity. NEP envisions an autonomous body named National Educational Technology Forum to provide a platform for exchanging ideas and using technology to enrich teaching-learning experience.

E-learning platforms such as DIKSHA, SWAYAM & SWAYAMPRABHA will offer teaching and learning e-content. Blended learning is going to be the complementary mode of education.

 The beginning of change 

The Union Budget 2021-22 has already set the ball rolling with the announcement to qualitatively strengthen 15,000 schools across India to implement NEP. These shall serve as model schools for the others to follow. Going forward, the education sector must harness the forces of technology and pedagogy to further bolster the benefits accruing from NEP. That shall set Indian education on a rising curve of evolution.

दे हम उन्हें संस्कारों के साथ कौशलों की सीख

बना रहे 21वीं सदी के व्यक्तित्व खास।

किसी भी राष्ट्र की परम उन्नति का प्रमुख आधार कौशल संपन्न युवा पीढ़ी ही हो सकती है, लेकिन वे युवा संस्कृति व संस्कारों से जुड़े हों, उनका मन सकारात्मकता से भरा हो, उनके मन में कुछ हटकर करने की तमन्ना हो, तभी वे समाज व राष्ट्र की आवश्यकताओं के अनुरूप अपने विविध रचनात्मक कौशलों का उपयोग कर कुछ विशेष, प्रभावी व सकारात्मक कार्य कर सकेंगे।

हमारा विद्यालय विद्यार्थियों को संस्कृति व संस्कारों से जोड़े रखने के लिए जहाँ एक ओर भारतीय संस्कृति से जुड़े विविध त्योहारों, महत्त्वपूर्ण दिवसों, महापुरुषों की जयंतियों, पुण्यतिथियों, सामाजिक व धार्मिक उत्सवों एवं राष्ट्रीय पर्वों पर चेतना व प्रेरणा से परिपूर्ण कार्यक्रमों का आयोजन करके सात्विकता, सदाचार, सत्य, समर्पण, सेवा, सहयोग, शुचिता, संयम, सत्यनिष्ठा, परोपकार व अनेक मानवत्व से जुड़े गुणों का विकास कर दया-करुणा, बलिदान और संघर्ष की सीख देता है तो वहीं दूसरी और 21वीं सदी को ध्यान में रखकर संगठन क्षमता, संप्रेषण कौशल, रचनात्मक कौशल, नेतृत्व क्षमता, उत्तरदायित्व निर्वहन, कल्पना शक्ति, पहलपूर्वक किसी कार्य को करना, महत्त्वपूर्ण विचार क्षमता व समूह में कार्य करने संबंधी विविध कौशलों का विकास विद्यार्थियों को विद्यालय स्तर पर विविध अवसर प्रदान करके किया जाता है।

वर्तमान सदी में कौशल से परिपूर्ण, सक्रिय युवाओं के लिए आवश्यक है कि वे तकनीकी ज्ञान, संप्रेषण कौशल में विशेष रूप से दक्ष हों, कर्म सौंदर्य के सच्चे उपासक हों व किसी भी कार्य की पूर्ण जिम्मेदारी लेकर उस कार्य को सफलता के चरम शिखर तक पहुँचाने का अपार उत्साह रखते हों। इसी बात को ध्यान में रखकर हमारे विद्यालय में विद्यालय स्तरीय गतिविधियों के अतिरिक्त समय-समय पर विभिन्न वेबीनार का आयोजन करवाकर, समर कैंप का आयोजन करके, विविध कार्यक्रमों व गतिविधियों में उन्हें उत्तरदायित्व देकर प्रोत्साहित करते हैं और उनकी क्षमताओं को जाग्रत कर उनमें कौशल विकास का कार्य किया जाता है।

21वीं सदी विकास व कौशल की सदी है, गतिपूर्वक स्वयं को आगे बढ़ाने की सदी है; लेकिन इस सदी को प्राण-चेतना प्रदान करने का कार्य संस्कृति व संस्कार ही करेंगे। 21वीं सदी इतिहास के पन्नों में तभी अमर हो पाएगी, जब उस सदी में कार्य करने वाले संस्कृति व संस्कारों से जुड़े हों। एम.पी.एस., प्रताप नगर, जयपुर का लक्ष्य पिछले 13 वर्षों से संस्कृति व संस्कारों से विद्यार्थियों को जोड़कर 21वीं सदी के लिए कौशलों से परिपूर्ण नागरिक तैयार करना रहा है और इस कार्य को हमारे विद्यालय की टीम अपने शिक्षण में NEP-2020 के अनुरूप नवाचार लाकर बड़ी ही चेतना, सकारात्मकता व क्रियाशीलता के साथ कर रही है।

देकर हम कौशल विकास की सीख
