शिक्षा सांस्कृतिक परिवर्तन सामाजिक चेतना और मानसिकता के निर्माण का सशक्त माध्यम है। छात्रों को कार्यबल के लिए तैयार करने हेतु शिक्षा को आज अधिक व्यावहारिक और कौशल आधारित बनाने की आवश्यकता है।। हमारे छात्रों को कार्यबल में सफल होने के लिए गहन ज्ञान, जटिल समस्याओं को हल करने की क्षमता और विभिन्न संदर्भों में व्यावहारिक रूप से ज्ञान और कौशल का उपयोग करना आना ही चाहिए। विद्यार्थी जीवन में 4 सी (महत्वपूर्ण सोच या समस्या समाधान, रचनात्मकता और नवाचार कौशल, नेतृत्व व जिम्मेदारी तथा संचार कौशल) की महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका है।

# महत्वपूर्ण सोच व समस्या समाधान- छात्रों को जानकारी का विश्लेषण करने और साथ ही समस्या समाधान करने की क्षमता प्रदान करता है ।सूचना के युग में युवा छात्रों को निष्क्रिय रूप से जानकारी देने के बजाय प्रश्न पूछना सिखाता है।

#  रचनात्मकता और नवाचार - बॉक्स के बाहर सोचने की कला। यानि 21वीं सदी के कौशल में रचनात्मकता एक अहम पहलू है जो विद्यार्थियों को समस्याओं के विभिन्न दृष्टिकोणों का विश्लेषण कर नए समाधान पर कार्य करना सिखाती है, जिन पर हमने पहले विचार नहीं किया हो।

# नेतृत्व व जिम्मेदारी - अन्य लोगों के साथ मिलकर काम करने की क्षमता का विकास भी 21वीं सदी का एक महत्वपूर्ण कौशल है। हर किसी के पास लोगों के साथ प्रभावी ढंग से काम करने की क्षमता नहीं होती। विद्यार्थी एक दूसरे का सहयोग कर विचारों को साझा करने व समस्या समाधान करने में सक्षम हो सकेंगे।

#  संचार कौशल - छात्रों को प्रभावी ढंग से अपने विचारों को संप्रेषित करने में सक्षम करना ही संचार कौशल है ताकि समूह से बात करते वक्त अपना ध्यान खोए बिना प्रभावी रूप से संप्रेक्षण कर सकें।

जब ये  4 सी एक साथ आते हैं, तभी हम अपने छात्रों को प्रभावी व आत्मविश्वासी व्यक्तित्व बना सकते हैं। हमारा विद्यालय भी स्कूल पाठ्यक्रम में इन चार सी का उपयोग कर ऐसे विद्यार्थियों का निर्माण कर रहा है जो किसी भी क्षमता से कार्य बल से प्रवेश करने के लिए तैयार हैं । जैसे-जैसे वे अपने जीवन में बढ़ते हैं, वे अनुकूलन, नवाचार संवाद करना सीखकर दुनिया में प्रभावी व्यक्तित्व के रूप में अपना स्थान बना पाते हैं, क्योंकि 21वीं सदी विकास व कौशल की सदी है जो विद्यार्थियों में बहुआयामी प्रतिभा जागृत कर आत्मनिर्भर बनने व विश्लेषणात्मक तार्किक क्षमता का विकास करने वाली है । क्योंकि—

 कर्तव्यों का बोध कराती, अधिकारों का ज्ञान।      

 शिक्षा से ही मिल सकता सर्वोपरि सम्मान।।

Sand granules, as we say, are slipping with a preordained space. We are entering a new era, with new hopes, new aspirations, new vigour and all the new challenges to confront.

The time spent has an impeccable list of achievements. Yet there is more hidden in this tempting fold of twelve months. With the word hope and commitment of doing all good, pushing our boundaries to attain our goals, we step into a new year.

Dedicated to raising the well groomed students  while tasked with meeting the social, emotional, and physical needs of children, the  educational system is in a constant state of evolution. Educators, being felicitators, try to bridge the cropping lacunae in the present educational system. We analyse, internalize and be catalytic in the emerging educational revolution.

 Learning reaffirms and reinforces the values which build the character of a child. Everything, the youth of today, desire and aspire in their lifetime, is waiting for them, an inch outside their Comfort Zone and an inch inside their Effort Zone.

It’s the hour to manifest all the dreams and yearnings and bring the children on the right track. We need to endow their personality with  moral and ethical values. Reiterate and reinforce the teachings of our scriptures and mold their character once again. The battle is threatening but there is no way to escape. Either succumb or conquer. And being an educator, we zealously accept the challenge.

To live ethically and to uphold the values of our country, the onus of responsibility descend on each individual of the society. Practising acts of kindness and compassion are indispensable ingredients of a firm foundation. A nation would survive and flourish if people are committed to good character and an unyielding dedication to liberty and justice for all.

 Citing examples from the glorious ancient history of India, Rig Veda , Bhagwat Gita and Ramayana preach   the  fundamental  values,   harmony, tolerance, righteousness , respect for nature and respect for the supreme.

 The goal of learning is to nurture the zeal in every child to pursue their own well  being while also being considerate to the  feelings of fellow beings. Developing a strong and positive character lead us to the enormous contributions to society. A strong character is an accumulation of set of qualities or values that shape our thoughts and actions and mold us as a responsible citizen.

 A responsible citizen abides by all the law and order of the country and adhere to his or her duties as called upon. He is one of the dominant pillars of the country.

Moral values play a crucial role in enabling a child to take fair decisions and to be honest and credible.

Instilling the below mentioned values at an early age assure to build a positive character in a child.

·         Gratitude – Imbibe the value to be grateful to everything children have in their life. It boosts their moral compass and affirms the belief in universal brotherhood.

·         Kindness – The acts of kindness restore our faith in humanity. The kindness shown to all living and non living beings repays in manifolds. It provides a perspective that shapes attitudes and beliefs towards various aspects of life.

·         Being emphatic – Shedding a few drops of tears in someone’s bad time gives us an insight to understand the trauma he is going through.

·         Maintaining mental peace – It is vital to stay physically as well as mentally strong in every phase of life. Children must be prepared for challenges of life and be ready to accept victory or defeat in a heroic manner

·         Bouncing back stronger- Failure and success are the two sides of a coin. The one who learns from his experiences and bounces back stronger is considered the real hero in this world.

·         Compassion and co-operation – Practicing a co-operative and compassionate spirit manifest the true objective of your life.

We need to inculcate these values in our future generation to promote the culture and heritage of our country. The role played by school education is  paramount in promoting and sustaining such values in children.

Creative Learning

Alma mater should be like one's bountiful mother, an altruistic haven for creative learning, where a child's fancy adolescence is carved into the ne plus ultra.

A classroom is a cluster of latent potential which may fashion into myriad avenues ,if pupils are polished in their blooming years. 

Synching with the paradigm of a novel globe of accelerating hyper-competitiveness at warp speed, we have  embraced effective pedagogies to facilitate learning.

We introduced Integrated books for Class 1 and 2. Storytelling as a means to teach life skills is an integral part of our morning assembly. Acknowledging the growing demand of linguistic skills in English, we have incorporated sessions of vocabulary and common errors and  weekly 'Reading Activity.'

Accentuating the idea of bridging the skills gap between education and work, vocational skill based subject training is being conducted in Block Printing, Beauty and Wellness, Mass Media, Office Procedure, IT and AI.

Teaching through music and Painting 'Phad se Padh' , Graphic Novels in all the major subjects is a fruitful creative pedagogy to teach difficult concepts in a simplified way.

Incorporation of technology via Digital tools, Experiential Learning and Community Services by NCC Cadets and Scouts are undoubtedly efficacious ways for holistic learning.

Science and Art and Craft Exhibition, Celebration of all significant days and festivals, In house activities have not only enabled students to learn the concepts at core but also imbibed values in them and made them proactive.

We believe inclusion of creativity and innovation can solely enable learners to carve a niche for themselves and striving with the constancy of purpose for it.

Mental health includes our emotional,  psychological and social well-being. It affects how we feel, think and act. It also helps determine how we handle stress,  relations with others and make choices. It is the state of  well being in which every individual realises his or her own potential, can cope with the normal stresses of life, productively and fruitfully.

Envisioning a world where mental health is valued, promoted and protected ,we at mpspn preen our efforts and adopt best practices to improve and enhance mental health of our students.

• One to one councelling of children: Children with special needs may have anxiety disorder, attention deficit, hyperactivity disorder, autism spectrum disorder , dyslexia, hearing , visual and other learning disabilities. The school counselor  joined hands with special educator and identified such children and undertook rigorous councelling session to shun such disorders. The work is still on.

• In House Celebrations and Morning Assembly: To promote team spirit and a sense of belongingness to school, we  ensure equal participation of students from all four houses viz. Abhimanyu House, Dhruva House, Eklavya House and Prahlad House in In-house activities weekly for their all round development.

• With an intent to inculcate life skill, holistic health and well being , we organise special morning assemblies and celebrate all significant days viz  Armed Forces Day, Youth Week , Mental Health Day, Parakram Diwas, NCC Day etc in school.

• Listen to children’s concerns: As teachers, it is essential to listen to students' concerns and demonstrate understanding as well as empathy. Our  Educators offer students the opportunity to have a one-to-one conversation with them to reconnect and discuss any concerns.

• We run empowered Boys and Girls' guild to attend to their needs under the guidance of their incharges.

• Keep a watchful eye on children’s performance: Teachers get in touch with the academic progress of a child before introducing a new topic. They try to connect the concept with live examples and 

share experiences.

• Engage children in constructive activities: 

Teachers Seek help of children and decorate the soft board of their  class with  colourful and welcoming messages.  Praises and appreciation such as Saturday Award, Star of the class, best reader, can keep them going  of  and  fetch desired outcomes. 

• Watch out for any warning signs of child behaviour that interferes with their ability to explore, play and learn: Teachers are  attentive to changes in children's behaviours. If any significant change is noticed or it persists over a time, preventive measures are  adopted without any further delay. Teachers provide lots of support if they feel a child is struggling. 

• Model good coping behaviours for students –

Educators need to be calm, honest, and caring, and should demonstrate  a positive attitude to children so that they too learn to cope with situation and learn to deal with stress.

To infuse the child with the spirit of camaraderie, cohesion and, at mps Pratap Nagar House System is devised. Each child from grade 1 is allotted a house and is gradually introduced to the ethos of the institution.

The students of the school are grouped in separate houses and each house is monitored  by a house in charge along with other teacher members of the house. The four houses are named as Abhimanyu House, Dhruv House, Eklavya House and Prahlad House.

Promoting a sense of belonging and teamwork each house has a house Captain,  Vice-captain at senior and junior level respectively. Every house has a house color and a motto to which students endeavour to live up to.

The House System provides excellent opportunities for student leadership and peer group support. Aided by dedicated staff members, and house captains, it is a remarkable medium for enabling students of different ages to bond together and operate as a cohesive family.

At mps , a common goal of building a sense of unity and enriching as a team, all houses strive to inculcate the most mindful values amid students. This is achieved through various inter-house activities in sports, cultural and co- curricular areas.

Each house takes a weekly turn to conduct morning assembly, setting up the school Bulletin board and taking part in school functions. They compete with each other in various activities on weekly basis.

It helps in developing positive self-esteem and value of the ethos of the School community. It also gives opportunities to the students to realize every individual’s full potential by participating in various Inter House competitions whether in Academics, Sports or Co- curricular activities.

The co-curricular activities enrich, broaden and round off the experiences of our students and help them to learn lifelong skills necessary for a rapidly changing society. The healthy competition between Houses allows students to work as a team aiming for the success of the House in all challenges, activities and competitions to finally win the coveted trophy for ‘Best House’ and ‘Best House in Activities’.

A school facilitates education which is just not completing the curriculum but the values we learn during our school days and grow up as an individual prepare us to tackle the real world. Students in a school come from a wide cross-section of the society(caste, creed, economic status). Here they learn to co-exist , respect each other and above all they inculcate the virtue of tolerance. They learn to t observe patience and compassion in their daily dealings at a very tender age. This facilitates them to adjust well within the society as the society cannot work without cooperation.

Likewise, students in schools learn that they cannot progress until they value the spirit of teamwork and collaboration. Here they participate in a variety of group activities where they learn the very important skill of teamwork and collaboration. Along with this we cannot forget to mention another important life skill to thrive in a society ,i.e., while living in a community, you need to practice discipline, orderliness and respect for laws and regulations. And this is automatically inculcated in the behaviour of children as in school they are guided by a skilled authority and their rules and regulations and if children misbehave they are punished making them understand the importance of laws and rules.

As an ex mpsite I feel proud and blessed that I got such a beautiful platform to learn and practice all these skills. I could remember how well mps is at moulding students personality . The learning interaction and bond between students and teachers is still a beautiful memory for me.I enjoyed the morning assemblies where we not only prayed to God but also learnt a lot new skills through stories told by our respected Principal ma'am.

MPS for me is so welcoming, so inviting, and so comfortable that i believe every person who walks through its door belives they are about to have an amazing experience.My school breathes in my conduct now. The lessons I gained here, the atmosphere which shaped my personality , altogether have influenced my conduct and behaviour in positive ways.

    “School as a miniature society prepares you for global world”

 Since class 2nd to 10th I studied in   New Modern Public School, , a small  English medium school.  

Thereafter I joined Maheshwari Public School, Pratap Nagar, Jaipur. One of the most prestigious school of the city. Naturally, the level of pressure to adjust in the new environment was at its height. But the ever supporting teachers helped me a lot to meet all the challenges. I was glad to take admission here.

Everybody says that the time spent with old friends always remains the best part of your life. As a new student I experienced great friendship and awesome and best supportive teachers.

(Ms. Prachi maam ‘As a class teacher’, Ms. Ruchi ma’am ‘Maths teacher’ and Ms. Manju ma’am ‘Accounts teacher’) and many other teachers. The only place where I got to understand my future life goals for self growth and in return to society as well. The level of education and life skills I learnt here, gave a new pathway for my future goals. 

Mps paves the way to become CA. The only reason I decided to be a CA is the clarity of concept I gained here (My love towards practical subjects). It gave wings to my dreams. I was very grateful and thankful from the deepest core of my heart to all loving and caring teachers.
